About

One person, two apps, no hurry.

Rewired Apps Ltd is a software studio in Nottingham. It is also just me, which is worth saying plainly rather than hiding behind a company voice.

What Rewired is

I am Pete Jenkins. I build software in the evenings and at weekends, and I have shipped two apps that people now pay for. Rewired Apps Ltd exists to hold them properly: one company, one set of accounts, one name on the App Store instead of mine.

The company was incorporated on 26 August 2026. The apps are older than the company, which is the usual order of things when something starts as a problem you had on a Tuesday.

Why “Rewired”

Both apps do the same thing in different clothes. They take something people currently hold in their heads, or on a scrap of paper, or in a group chat nobody scrolls back through, and they wire it up so it works without anyone having to remember.

In a household, that is usually one person who knows which drawer the passports are in and when the boiler was last serviced. On the water, it is the mental checklist you run before you launch: what the river is doing, where you can get out, who knows you are out there. Same job, different Tuesday.

How the apps get built

Slowly, and with a lot of throwing away. Both run on the same stack, so a fix in one often turns up in the other a week later. Both are British-first, because both problems are shaped by where you live: MOT dates and council tax in one, Environment Agency river gauges and tide tables in the other.

Nothing here is venture funded. That means the apps can stay small and specific instead of growing into something nobody asked for, and it means the pricing has to be honest, because there is no other money coming in.

Getting in touch

Email hello@rewiredapps.com. It reaches me, not a queue. If it is about a specific app, the contact page lists the addresses that get you there faster.
